Dr. John McConnell specializes in sports medicine including arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions, arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, and shoulder stabilization procedures. He enjoys the challenge of performing complicated operations and finds great satisfaction in seeing his patients get well. He is a clinical professor of orthopedic surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. In his free time Dr. McConnell enjoys golf and scuba diving and has a black belt in karate.
