Dr. Kelly Mayer, DDS

Dr. Kelly Mayer brings over fifteen years of clinical experience and a deep passion for precision dentistry to Mayer Smile Be Bright. She combines an educator’s mindset with an artist’s hands, always taking the time to explain options and empower every patient. Dr. Mayer graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (Distinguished Major Thesis, High Honors) and a Bachelor of Arts in French (Major Thesis, High Honors), with a minor in Studio Art. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina, Memorial Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Dr. Mayer is fluent in French and welcomes Francophone patients. Her community dedication is reflected in providing over $50,000 of free dental care to the Northern Virginia Free Dental Clinic and participating in Mission of Mercy clinics. Originally from Lynchburg, VA, Dr. Mayer lives in Falls Church with her husband Colin and two young children. She finds balance through hiking, running, traveling, and family adventures, building a practice defined by artistry, integrity, and genuine care for every smile.
