Description

Arlington Forest Club (AFC) is a non-profit corporation formed to promote the health and general welfare of its members. The 675 families who have purchased membership certificates own the club, which is situated on more than three acres of land in Arlington, Virginia. Recreation facilities at AFC include a main swimming pool (25-meter, eight lanes) with two diving boards; a wading pool for children below 6 years of age; four lighted, composition tennis courts; a tennis backboard; a brand new bath house and snack bar; a shaded children's playground area; and a pavilion for cookouts and picnics. Arlington Forest Club fields swim and dive teams in the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL) as well as junior’s, men’s, and women’s tennis teams in the Northern Virginia Tennis League (NVTL). The club hosts a number of special events throughout the summer, including the annual Crab Feast, weekly Sunday morning adult swims, and other family and adult parties.
